WHITE MAN CAN’T REGGAE RETURN

White Man Can’t Reggae (often spelt White Men Can’t Reggae) were Australia’s largest cover band sensation in the 80’s and 90’s performing thousands of gigs across the country with their own unique twist of Jamaica. Creator and fearless front man Stefan De Vries stepped into stardom as White Man Can’t Reggae achieved runner up in The Coca Cola Music awards for best independent band and achieved a Top Ten Earning Oz Entertainers position in The Business Review Weekly.  This summer the boys are back…and the party begins this Sunday at The Bay Hotel in Mornington.

The live shows play list is mostly covers that are popular and are feel good reggae with some classic dance and rock tunes also sprinkled with a bit of ‘Bob Marley’ to get the toughest toes tapping. White Man Can’t Reggae (a pun on the 80’s film White Man Can’t Jump) were also embraced internationally following sell-out shows in Bali, Sri Lanka and New Caledonia. White Man Can’t Reggae have recorded 2 CD albums and have been featured on Video Hits in Australia, MTV Asia, Chanel V Asia and Star TV.

White Man Can’t Reggae burst back on to Melbourne stages this Summer with their own blend of beach party. Catch Stefan and the boys from White Man Can’t Reggae this Sunday November 13 from 3pm at the Bay Hotel, 62 Main Street in Mornington.
