ALL ABOARD FOR ROSIE & THE MIGHTY KINGS

The Sunday Soultrain is stopping all stations, collecting a full carriage of surprise guests and sentimental fave’s along the way. Bound for Davey’s each and every Sunday afternoon Sunday Soultrain delivers the best of Blues, Soul and Rock’n Roll each week.

Sunday’s at Davey’s have never been bigger and it aint gonna stop there! Announcing an exciting new roster ahead, Soultrain welcomes back the legendary Chris Wilson and crew, Geoff Achison makes his long-awaited return, Jimi Hocking is back from the Jets tour, and celebrating a win for Best Blues Album at last weeks Age Music Victoria Music Awards, Fiona Boyes performs her final show as a fellow Victorian in an exclusive farewell show.

One of the hottest new acts pilling up to the platform in November is Rosie & The Mighty Kings.   The Mighty Kings are a Rock/Pop/Rockabilly band from Melbourne taking the scene by storm and eager to offer something different to the music world.

With the powerful voice of Miss Rosie Conforto joining forces with the Rockabilly Rebel, Heath Brady to share lead vocals, The Mighty Kings offer a new flavour and diversity that’s keeping fans entertained and on their feet from start to finish. Featuring all the traditional Stray Cats shuffles and thumping rockabilly tunes of Imelda May and Devil Doll, Rosie & The Mighty Kings bring a bag of unexpected twists on songs from bands like Aerosmith, The Beastie Boys, Violent Femmes and even Cold Chisel, for an adrenaline pumping rockabilly mash to some 80’s classics along the way.

The Mighty Kings original songs are receiving overwhelming feedback and the new single Voodoo Doll has got everybody talking.  The band have been packing the crowds into Melbourne venues since 2013 including The Prince of Wales, The Cherry Bar, Yah Yahs, The Vineyard, The Espy and The Elephant and Wheelbarrow. This year The Mighty Kings hit the road touring Rockabilly festivals and car shows all over Australia including the Hot Rod Nationals at Phillip Island, Ballarat Beat and Cooly Rocks on the Gold Coast.

Miss Rosie and the boys will certainly make their presence felt as they make their Sunday Soultrain debut on November 22 at Davey’s, Cnr Daveys St & Nepean Hwy, Frankston. Entry is FREE and show starts at 3pm. For more information Ph 97837255 or visit www.daveys.com.au.
