AN ANGEL AND A SCREAMING JET

Rosebud Hotel embarks on a new era of entertainment as Friday’s launch into a new format for music fans. Aimed at the over 25’s a new relaxed environment in the sports bar will feature some of Melbourne’s finest acoustic performers. Leading the pack is Screaming Jet Paul Woseen and James Morley from The Angels on Friday May 1st from 9pm.

One of the founding members of iconic Oz rock band The Screaming Jets, Paul is the kind of bloke who always lives his music on a 24-7-365 basis. His prolific songwriting has made him, since day one, the backbone of a wide landscape that runs through the band’s lyrical content as it is served up through a clever union of verses and hooks that speak to us all. Paul promises some Jets classics and a few personal favourites to boot!

Joining Paul for the first time on the Peninsula in James Morley. James has been at the forefront of entertainment in WA for some 25 years as well as a national touring artist with The Angels. Over the years he has teamed up with the best talent this country has to offer and entertained over a million people.
Morley achieved fame as a member of legendary Australian band and Australian Hall of Fame inductees The Angels. Their most successful period saw them achieve multi platinum album sales and a solid spot at the top of the Australian Charts. Since then he has recorded and performed with an array of the world’s best artists from bands such as AC/DC, Richard Clapton, Def Leppard and Meatloaf, and featured in the 2004 movie ‘Thunderstruck’ playing the part of iconic AC/DC guitarist Angus Young.

With a fresh new rotation of artists to adopt the laid back Friday vibe at Rosebud Hotel including Tim Morrison from The Voice, Joe Laff, Pretty Villan’s Miss Rosie and Piano Man Duo Jason Dean & Dylan Boyd. Friday’s are set to add a whole new perspective at The Rosey…put it on your “to Do” list today!
