AusMusic T-Shirt Day 2026 Is Live – And Your Wardrobe Can Save Lives

AusMusic T-Shirt Day 2026 Is Live – And Your Wardrobe Can Save Lives

There are very few occasions where buying a t-shirt qualifies as a genuine act of generosity. AusMusic T-Shirt Day is one of them. Support Act's beloved annual campaign has kicked off for 2026, dropping 18 limited-edition designs tied to some of Australia's most iconic and emerging artists, with every cent of net proceeds heading straight to the charity's welfare services for musicians, crew, and music workers doing it tough.

This year's lineup of tees is genuinely impressive. INXS mark their Northern Beaches roots with a design steeped in local pride. Baker Boy brings culture, heritage and Country to the canvas. Gang of Youths, Karnivool, Mental As Anything, Bachelor Girl and Genesis Owusu all feature, alongside electronic duo The Presets, who are using their tee to offer a glimpse at their upcoming Foreverafter festival. Sydney-based producer Ninajirachi, pop veteran Vanessa Amorosi and rock legacies Bon Scott and Doc Neeson round out a roll call that reads like a greatest-hits playlist for Australian music.

A few standouts deserve a mention. Becca Hatch, the Naarm-based indie artist who has been quietly building a loyal following, drops her very first piece of official merch through this campaign. It's a big moment for an artist whose lo-fi, emotionally direct songwriting has earned her real affection in Australian indie circles. There's also a hero tee designed by Sebi White, a kids' tee from Nomad Create, and a CrewCare design by Shannon Trottman, a direct tribute to the roadies, riggers, sound engineers and stage managers who power every live show but rarely see the spotlight themselves.

The campaign's production and printing costs are fully covered by American Apparel and Love Police, meaning the 100% net proceeds pledge is real. Support Act, for those unfamiliar, is Australia's only charity providing crisis relief and mental health support to people working in the music industry. Given the pressures that have hammered touring artists and crew since COVID, the organisation's work has never been more necessary.

To mark the launch, a short film has also dropped featuring The Presets, Becca Hatch, Vera Blue, Kobie Dee, Rachel Fahim, Ruby Rodgers, Pacific Avenue, Lucia Field from The Wiggles, and crew worker Darron "Red" Foley. Set inside a laundromat, each spin of the drum reveals another tee, another story and another reason to get behind the cause. It's a genuinely charming piece of content in a campaign that has always punched above its weight creatively.

One important caveat: these are strictly limited-edition runs. Once a size sells out, it's gone for good. If something in the lineup speaks to you, this is not a campaign to bookmark and revisit in a few weeks.
