The Mornington Peninsula Music Industry Summit – the one-day event which will aim to draw together a creative community of musicians, songwriters, industry professionals, and emerging talent – takes place this coming Monday.
It also aims to offer participants numerous opportunities to engage, connect and collaborate with likeminded music folk.
The Shire Arts & Culture Team at MPSC have put a tremendous effort into this Event which has been conceived as part of the MP Shire Music Plan 2025. Included is a ‘branding’ initiative as Mornington Peninsula Music Industry. The Event slogan “Make Music Matter” has been introduced and the theme of the Event is A Day of Collaboration, Conversation and Connection!
The MP Music Network Committee was not directly involved in the initial programming but has been consulted at a meeting with the Arts & Culture Team.
The Committee wholeheartedly supports this important event and recommends that all MP Music network members attend if they are able. The outcomes and feedback received from this Summit will be invaluable in designing and programming future events.
When: Monday 12 August 8:00am – 7:00pm
Where: Gods Kitchen, Grand Hotel, plus other venues in Mornington
Ticket includes all workshops, Summit Showbag, live music and catering all day.
