Bo certainly turned the joint UPSIDE DOWN early last month, and THIS MONTH Bo’s back to FRIDAY NIGHT BLUES CLUB at the Seaford Hotel!
Hailing from Arkansas USA with his own combination of Blues, Country and Rock, Bo Jenkins has has become an institution on the blues circuit since relocating to Australia. “His mere talent puts him in the same league as Hendrix and Clapton” is a bold statement but these are the words from “RHYTHMS” magazine following his performance at Byron Bay Bluesfest. Bo, a left hander, tunes his guitar upside down and plays with the high “E” string on top – allowing him to play some things that right handed players just cannot do.
Renown in earlier days as one of our foremost local Blues men, Bo left our cosy culture behind six years ago opting for the warmer climate of Queensland. In great news for fans, our legendary lefty is back home (well…our home) and back to stay.
