Launching at Ding Dong Lounge, The Gumbo Club is set to become your new favourite Thursday night in Melbourne. Featuring authentic Cajan and Creole cuisine direct from the Girl With The Gris Gris kitchen, as well as weekly cocktail specials and the best live entertainment that our fine city has to offer each month, get ready to drink, dance and dine – New Orleans style!

Born and bred in Louisiana, Girl With The Gris Gris Head Chef Chris Weysham, will ensure that diners get a true taste of the American South with his authentic, home-style cooking. Expect all of Chris Weysham’s speciality dishes including his renowned gumbo (a smokey stew with chicken and andouille sausage), jambalaya, and cinnamon pecan bread pudding, all of the Girl With The Gris Gris favourites that keep hungry folks coming back for more.

To launch the live entertainment and get you dancing at The Gumbo Club, is Voodoo King Pugsley Buzzard, who will be performing his swampy, bayou blues over two sets. Never failing to get people stompin’ and shakin’ their thang, you can catch Pugsley from 7:30pm, along the greatest tunes born in the Deep South spinning in between sets and after the show.

Table reservations are not essential but are highly recommended, and, of course, entry is free!
