Partnering the finest guest artists with the best and brightest star graduates from the Australian Ballet School, The Dancer’s Company, forms the touring arm of The Australian Ballet. They are hitting the road to dazzle audiences across Australia performing a spectacular triple bill.
Paquita, choreographed by Marius Pepita is a cornerstone of traditional ballet highlighting incredible technique with a kaleidoscope of tutus. Rimbombo, (Italian for rumble) created especially for The Dancer’s Company by ex-principal artist and former Artistic Director of the West Australian Ballet, Simon Dow showcases the athleticism and artistic prowess of the young male dancers eliciting both awe and laughter. Swan Lake featuring Tchaikovsky’s iconic score is one of the world’s most beloved ballets. Selecting Act III with its dramatic ballroom scene and lavishly costumed Black Swan Pas de duex it’s sure to please.
