Contemporary dance innovators, Chunky Move, in collaboration with The Frankston Arts Centre are offering enthusiastic youth aged 16 to 24 a rare opportunity to be part of live site based performances in Frankston on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30.
Director/Choreographer, Adam Wheeler will create a collage of dance, sound and video based on his hugely successful contemporary dance work, It Sounds Silly, which is an exploration of a child’s perspective on self and the wider world.
No dance experience is necessary, but those expressing interest must be committed to following through from rehearsal to production. Adam Wheeler will be running a workshop at Cube 37, Frankston Arts Centre on Sunday, July 20 from 11 am to 4 pm.
If you’d like to be one of twenty lucky young people to seize this opportunity, get a move on. Expressions of interest close at 5 pm on Wednesday, July 9. Contact Tammy Ryan at Cube 37 on 9784 1705 for an expression of interest form or email: tammy.ryan@frankston.vic.gov.au
