There’s some exciting news from Sunday Soultrain ahead with the launch of Beachcombers Sunday Market on Sunday February 21 at Davey’s Hotel in Frankston. Making way for the new weekly market concept Sunday Soultrain shuffles to a later time slot launching with TWO big bands on opening week and continuing thereafter from 5pm.
February 21 kicks in reuniting Paul Dove & The Hoochie Coochie Boys and welcomes back rockin’ favourites Itchy Fingers for a special guest set to mark the occasion. The Hoochie Coochie Boys were one of Melbourne’s leading blues acts in the 90’s featuring local identity Paul Dove. Along with Davey Porter (Electric Mary) on drums and the popular rhythm section of Torren Dove and Rowan Mumford (Blues Mountain) the return back to local stages by the boys promises to please Soultrain fans this summer.Joining The Hoochie Coochie Boys is acclaimed rockers Itchy Fingers to complete a toe-tapping, shoe-shuffling double header after the new weekly market from 5pm. It’s been a couple of years since Itchy Fingers graced the Sunday Soultrain stage at Davey’s in Frankston. Celebrating their 19th year on the road, Itchy Fingers perform high-energy 50’s & 60’s, Rockabilly infused Rhythm and Blues keeping their huge fan base coming back for more.
Sunday’s will never be the same with the new Beachcombers Sunday Market set to feature around 100 stalls between 9am-4pm every week at Davey’s followed by the best Blues, Soul & Rock’nRoll from Soultrain from 5pm.
