One man, one piano, two great shows at the Kingston Arts Centre on July 18 as Jersey Boys star Michael Griffiths performs the music of Annie Lennox and Madonna.
This years Adelaide Fringe Award Winner for Best Cabaret, brings to life two musical icons and takes us on a journey through not only the songs, but highlighting the truths and surprising stories behind them.
Sweet Dreams, the Annie Lennox show is told through the eyes of the moody songstress as Griffiths intertwines her story and songs with anecdotes and quips from her life to learn more about the star and her career.
In Vogue, songs by Madonna, Griffiths has Queen Madge down to a fine art. Performing medleys that cover the spectrum of Madonna’s vast career, teamed with piano skills that are unrivalled, Griffiths’ interpretations are faithful to Madonna material and the cabaret style.
