‘Andy Phillips and The Cadillac Walk is a fast rising three-piece Blues band from Melbourne, Australia. These boys rip it up and deliver in a unique way that can only be described as ‘Cadillac Walk style’. Their ability to take the audience from mellow bourbon-soaked blues numbers right through to the shake it up and rock it out songs and everything in between, leave audiences deeply satisfied, yet wanting more.
Andy Phillips has gained the well-deserved reputation for taking Blues playing to new heights with a blend of driving rhythms, tasty riffs and dynamic sequences, with his weapons of choice his Les Paul and Fender Strat. Andy is known for his incredible tone on the guitar – enjoying this band live is truly an experience in itself. Recent highlights of their career include jamming in Austin, Texas on a guitar previously owned by Stevie Ray Vaughan at legendary venues such as Antones, Maggie Mays and Friends on 6th St. Earlier this year Andy was home crowd favorite at Frankston’s Waterfront Festival and more recently took great pride joining fellow Aussie Jimi Hocking on the bill at the Rotorua Blues Festival in New Zealand.
