SANTANA SOUL SACRIFICE FOR SOULTRAIN

“Soul Sacrifice”, Melbourne’s one and only Santana Tribute act rolls in to Sunday Soultrain this week at Davey’s.  The renown seven piece has already sold out some of Melbourne’s most prestige venues, and promising a sensory stimulation of sound for Soultrain fans this Sunday in an exclusive free show from 3pm.

Just in time for a sultry Summer setting, and complete with a 3 piece percussion section of drums, congas, timbales, bongos and bells, Soul Sacrifice pays tribute to the great music of Santana.   For the band, it’s all about the music and putting on a great show focusing on classic Santana (late 60’s/70’s) with a splash of later stuff, covering Latin Rock, Latin Soul, Jazz, Funk and Rock genres. Classics such as Black Magic Woman, Evil Ways, Oye Como Va & Smooth create the infectious grooves and rhythms of Santana that keep you moving!!
