HIGH VOLTAGE DIRTY DEEDS & DIVINYLS

It’s a night of HIGH VOLTAGE ‘HIS & HERS’ OZ ROCK as two ‘gone but not forgotten’ icons come together at one of Melbourne’s greatest live music venues.  R.I.P – Rock In Peace Bon and Chrissy when DIRTY DEEDS, the World’s longest running AC/DC Tribute Show joins forces with Temperamental – A Tribute to Chrissy Amphlett and the Divinyls for an action packed, hard rockin’ Oz Music showstopper to celebrate our newest Public Holiday Eve Thursday October 1 at the Hallam Hotel.

Formed in 1990 and is currently on their 25th Anniversary Tour, Dirty Deeds still features original lead singer Alfi Rocker and has undeniably earned their reputation as one of Australia’s best tribute bands and the closest thing to a real AC/DC concert!!

Originally formed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the late, great AC/DC singer “BON SCOTT” in 1990, things went even better than expected for Dirty Deeds as one show after another was added to the schedule and before long they became one of the biggest drawcards of the Melbourne pub-rock scene. Entering a new era, Dirty Deeds opened a new chapter when expanding their set list to include Brian Johnson classics such as “Hells Bells”, “You Shook Me All Night Long” and of course the mighty “Thunderstruck”. The response from the audience was an instant a success! Year after year, show after show, DIRTY DEEDS keep on delivering the HIGH VOLTAGE rock’n roll of Australia’s greatest, and the worlds most successful rock band – AC/DC!!

Only one woman in Australia Rock history commanded the attention, the controversy and the praise that found Chrissy Amphlett out front of the iconic Divinyls. From their formation in 1980 to the devastating passing of Chrissy in 2013, the Divinyls and Chrissy changed the face of music and paved the way for women of rock for years to come. In the ultimate tribute to her idol, renowned Melbourne rockchick Drucindy Chin-Quan formed Temperamental in the most authentic portrayal of Australia’s Queen of Rock and the Divinyls ever seen.

Dirty Deeds and Temperamental’s Tribute to Chrissy Amplett promises to be the hardrockin subourban and coke solution for a huge night of Oz Rock at the Hallam Hotel for Grand Final Holiday Eve Thursday October 1.  Doors open at 8pm for and 8.30 show.  Tickets available now through Moshtix of at the venue.  See www.hallamhotel.com.au for further details… Oi!
