Returning to our screens recently with The Full Brazilian presenting his own zany coverage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, reminded us why fans just cant get enough of Jimeoin and his unique brand of classic nonsense. I will never forget seeing Jimeoin for the first time in the early 90’s at The Chevron. This lone crazed Irishman strolled on stage mid set of a Chocolate Starfish covers gig with a full set of golf clubs over his shoulder and broke in to a version of ‘Take A Walk On The Wild Side’ completely stopping the enigmatic crowd on their feet, as only he knows how.
A keen fisherman and golfer, constant touring enables Jimeoin to check out and experience new adventures, creating his own take on life in the tales that follow. Never a man to sit still in his career for long, he is forever doing gigs, trying new things and, basically, just having a laugh.
